Changing the filter in Rainbow e series

Some of the e-series has a corrugated filter in the top section. To get to it, remove the clear plastic panels that are the sides. Most have 3 screws on each side to move, then the top half will come loose. There also is filter on the back, there is a door to remove to get to it.

I have a Rainbow e series and need to know how to change the filters. I Have had it 2 yrs.

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. The Rainbow E Series vacuum, there are really no filters on this vacuum, the water is the actual filter and you need to clean the separator every time you use the vacuum and then as a rule dry out the vacuum separately, separate the water pan from the vacuum, clean the separator, and as a maintenance tip – place a newspaper or towel on the floor and then once you have replace the separator, then turn on the vacuum on with out the water pan on the vacuum and spin the moisture out of the motor section of the vacuum. This will prolong the life of your Rainbow, a little bit more maintenance but you don’t have to replace the motor as often.
