I was listening to it and it just quit - would not come on even to say low battery (which it is not low) - tried charging anyway and still would not come on.

if your battery is low on charge or you have to jump it off it may already be engaged and stuck in flywheel try turning motor by hand back and forth listen if you hear it pop out then try to start with good battery if doesnt work replace starter it could be the selinoid switch but you have to pull starter anyway so just replace all of it

Uncharged Sony Ericsson won't charge again

An original charger might solve the problem.

Try to charge via original charger (look and ensure no pins were damaged).

My walkman will not charge. I left it on charge

Hi joanna,
It is probably not turning on due to extremely low battery. Have you been using it for quite a few years? Then there may be a problem with the battery. But before that, please try connecting the player to another USB port on your computer, or removing any USB extensions except what SONY provided, or upgrading your USB driver. If nothing works, I'm afraid you'll have to refer it to a service center.

Hardware issue - call Philips and see if you are still in warranty

I assume you have:
Reset the player
Opened the Philips Device Manager and run "Update"
Opened the Philips Device Manager and run "Repair"
Tried Recovery Mode - Volume + while connecting
Performed a Triple Reset
Used a Different USB Port
Uninstalled and Reinstalled the Software

If you have done the above, then you have done all of the "soft fixes"

Dumb me. I should have read the manual first, instead of just glancing through it.
You just turn the thumbwheel to adjust the volume.

LG KG800 charging problem.

Hi Robert, actually its LG and the batteries are the worst - i did the same thing with my brand new shine! You need to be careful when you start a new battery - make sure you drain it 100%, then charge for 6-8hrs, then drain 100% then recharge - after that you are good.
a new chocolate battery goes for $25-40

thanks
