I have the Zenith remote version CL013 and I am using it on an Emerson TV. I do not have the manual anymore so I do not know the code.. Please help

The company that made the universal remote should have codes for your Emerson. I would contact them to get codes for that remote.
However, if you can't get that working you will find a remote that will run your Emerson on www.remotes.com. Emerson isn't making the original remote anymore, but they have a replacement for it that doesn't need any programming to run your Emerson. I couldn't find the manual for the remote you specified, however, as long as it is a Philips remote, you should be able to use any manual to find the code. If you know how to program the remote but just need the codes, you can get the codes here:

If you mean an Emerson TV/VCR combination, try Emerson 0479 1479 1278 .

For the Zenith VCR VR4225HF: Zenith 0039 0033 0000 0209 1479 0479

Emerson VCRs use the codes: 0037 0184 0000 0121 0043 0209 0278 0479 1479 1278
Emerson TVs use the codes: 0154 0236 0463 0180 0178 0171 0623

However, the codes are limited to devices released at least 6 months before the remote was programmed. If your devices are newer, you need a newer remote.

YOU CAN USE EMERSON CODES FOR YOUR ADMIRAL TV AND TV / VCR COMBOS, MY COMCAST REMOTE ACCEPTED 11911. SOME REMOTES NEED FIVE NUMBERS AND MY ADMIRAL ONLY HAS THREE. SO I USED AN EMERSON CODE AND IT WORKED MOST OF THE BELLS, NOT ALL WHISTLES WORKED BUT I DIDN'T HAVE TO GET UP TO TURN IT ON, CHANGE THE CHANNEL OR THE VOLUME. MY KIDS WON'T DO IT ANY MORE!!

found a remote that works at radio shack. RCA 4 device remote model #RCR4383N. I first tried to manually enter the emerson codes but they didn't work. Used the automatic code search and it was working within minutes. The input-tv/vcr button on the bottom right of remote switches between AV and coax like it should...$10.00
