FC is a communication error caused by poor connections with the wiring between the logic and relay boards in the unit... Disconnecting and re-connecting the wires and looking for / reflowing the solder joints behind the header connectors will fix your issue
Either you are locked out of installer programming or you do not have a Vista 20...this sounds more like a larger panel such as a Vista 40, 50, or some other 4140 based system...verify the model number by opening the main cabinet. The inside cover should have a diagram of the system and the model number. However, since the boards are easily replaced, the cover label is not always accurate. Look at any labels on the printed circuit board to help you properly id the model. By the way, FC indicates Failure to Communicate, meaning the unit tried to call the monitoring center but could not get through (usually 10 attempts) and is unrelated to the "master code". Hope this helps.
If the keypad displays FC, that means that it is programmed to send alarms to a central station and a phone line isn't connected to the control panel. If you do not subscribe to monitoring services, it will have to be re-programmed. I can do that for you over the telephone if needed.

replace the entire range: Jennair does not know how to design, make, or program electronics. It makes steel boxes that provide heat but electronics - that's not within their ability. Buy a Kenmore or a GE and your beeping problem will go away.
Christina, FC means there is a communication error between your main power board and keyboard. There is a J2 harness that runs between them. You might try to reseat this harness. If that doesn't work the main board will have to be replaced. Catriver..post back.
