I just bought an XO1915BT DVD player and installed it. I have the pink brake wire grounded with the other ground. It worked fine for me until I tried putting a DVD in. It played the FBI warning on the DVD then shut off. It came back on briefly but then went off for what seems to be forever. I can't get it to do anything. The fuse is good in the back and the power is there, do I hit it until it works?

Ignore the guy above. Just bought this unit, opened the box fresh, looked at the wiring diagram, and "Parking-Connect to switched side of Parking Brake Circuit(-)" says PINK.

Since my vehicle does not have a Parking Brake Circuit that I can find, I'm trying this method out:http://www.ehow.com/how_4482151_ebrake-s... - seems (according to this) that you have to wire up a momentary switch to the pink wire and the ground wire and then push the button 4x at 1 second each time.

What color wire do i hook the pink wire to

Pink wire is generally the parking brake safety. If you dont want the dvd player to play video while in drive wire it to the ground on your parking brake sensor wire. If you do want it to play video while your driving, wire it directly back to the ground wire on your stereo.

XO Vision XO1915BT DVD lockout bypass

Don't ground it. It's the amp remote wire. You're grounding 12V. Go here for the wire specs. Hopefully you haven't shorted anything in the unit. http://www.xovision.com/pdf/XO1915BT.pdf

Can't find Jensen UV10 e-brake bypass code.

Ok what you gotta do is connect the pink e-brake wire with the black wire that is already connected to the radio as the grounding.

Parking brake

If you have the VM9410 then there is a way to play dvd's even when you are driving. You must ground out the pink wire in the harness. This allows you to watch dvd's even when driving. good luck!

Parking Brake wire on Jensen VM9311TS

It may need to see a Positive....not a ground (the brake wire rests at ground and goes positive when the pedal is pressed). but to answer your question, the brake wire for your car is Light Green and is at the brake switch above the pedal.
