If your SkyGolf came with software, you should install it first. If you installed it and it does not work, go to the software and check for updates.
If that fails to work, UNINSTALL the program, and re-install it.
Make sure you DO NOT connect the device to the computer until the software is fully installed.
Check for updates after installation, and the reboot.
Then attach your device to the computer, and it should recognize it.

I am not able to download mp3 I purchased from Amazon from my computer to the mp3 player. What are the steps I need to follow?

If you are using g Windows Vista with Windows Media Player 11 , you will need
to follow these instructions.
Note: You will be able to download purchased/subscribed songs to the unit.
1. Start Windows Media Player 11 and then connect your unit to your computer. If

Upgraded to the SGX and now the Caddy Sync won't work.

Had the same problem when i first tried to sync on 2 different OS (XP and 7) as soon as I put skygolf.com into my antivirus software as a trusted site, it worked like a charm. Hope this helps someone as this is a great gps.

I just want to know how to get music off my computer to the mp3

I have copied the method that GPX uses to transfer your music from PC to player.


If you are using Windows Vista with Windows Media Player 11, you will need to follow these instructions.
Note: You will be able to download purchased/subscribed songs to the unit.

1. Start Windows Media Player 11 and then connect your unit to your computer. If you have not set up synchronization between your computer and this device, the Device Setup Wizard starts.

6. Click the Copy button.
7. Repeat steps 2-5 for any other items that you want to copy to your unit.

Making a folder will not work for me??

You cannot just create new folders - the player will not recognize them.

How can i see the songs on my mp3 player?

Uninstall the GPX software and then reinstall it - the new installation will take the new version of Media Player into account.
