I'm think Streets and Trips 2008 was really just an update to the 2007 version.

This means there wasn't really a download for S&T 2008 - It was a download of 2007 plus an update file to 2008. If you can find the FREE TRIAL version of Streets and Trips 2007 from somewhere and the 2008 update, you will still be able to use your existing product key to upgrade it to a full version again.

You might be able to get a disc-image file of the CD supplied with the 2008 boxed version from somewhere like Rapidshare. Try a rapidshare search at www.rapidshare.net or www.filecrop.com

Beware versions supplied with a cracked product key as using them constitutes software piracy. As long as you install it and register it with your own product key, it's legit.

Unfortunately, you can only download the current 2010 version of S&T from Microsoft although map updates are still available for the 2008 version.

If you accidentally deleted an essential file or it's just stopped working, you could try using the Windows System Restore feature. Just choose a recent restore point when the software was still functioning. Obviously, if you're trying to install the software on a new or another PC, this wont help!
