DC Controller error. Turn printer off for 60 seconds. If it's plugged into a surge protector, plug the printer into a wall outlet. Power it on. If it works - good. If not check the firmware version and upgrade it if needed. Other wise replace the DC Controller.
What is the error number that comes up there should be a code that is displayed. Once I have this number I will be able to tell you why you are getting the error and how to fix it.
1 Turn the printer off. 2 Turn the printer on. 3 Press and hold PAUSE/RESUME (LJ 9500) or START (LJ 9500mfp) on the control panel during the memory count. 4 Hold PAUSE/RESUME (LJ 9500) or START (LJ 9500mfp) down until all three error lights illuminate steadily. 5 Press (the 5 button on the MFP) until INITIALIZE DISKS appears on the display panel. 6 Press (the 6 button on the MFP). 7 The printer begins initializing the disk (this might take a moment). The control panel displays the HP event logo and eventually displays READY.
