If you clean your filter frequently, and keep your chlorine level to at least 5.0ppm it will help but with "out of the box" above ground pools the filter is really undersized. Check to see if a larger filter or pump can be installed on your pool. Also because it is an above ground pool if the temp gets above 84 degrees the chlorine dissipates rapidly, you can switch to Bromine which dissipates at around 104 degrees and provides the same sanitation levels as chlorine.

In searching a parts listing for your model i do not see a listing for the filter and believe your model doesnt have one. If it did it would be in the fresh food compartment in the ceiling in the upper right corner above the upper most shelf. A external filter could be added to the water supply line where it could be easily accessed and replaced. Filter kits are sold at Sears Lowe's HomeDepot or your local appliance parts store
The actual pressure depends on how clean the sand is, how well the pump is pumping, how clean the skimmer and pump baskets are. The rule of thumb would be when the filter pressure raises 8-10 psi above whatever the pressure was when you first started the filter with clean sand, clean baskets, good pump, When it reaches the 8-10 psi, it's time to backfulsh. there is a t tech fluid change machine available at oil change places, does a really good job....They will know if the filter requires changing on your model...
I would doubt that your fuel filter is dirty. The car runs better when the injectors are cleaned, as the deposits were removed during the cleaning process that caused poor atomization of the fuel. The fule filter is in the tank, and a really expensive procedure. In short, the fuel filter would be the LAST thing I would change.
clean the air filter really good along with the air box and clean the carb. clean the pilot and needle jets and check the float. i got to run so this gona be cut short but just check that **** out thats probly it

This is a solution for the VT 480 by NEC for filter clean. on the left side there are two slots that have dust filters which can slide vertically to reveal micro screens that one can blow, tap vigorously, or vacuum to remove any dust build up. I hope this helps you with your unit.
