My d4260 keeps creating a "copy 1" in the control panel and the "copy 1 " becomes the default printer. Why does it keep creating a copy even when I delete the "copy 1 "from the control panel ? There are no other printers hooked up to my computer..

Changes made to print, fax, copy, and e-mail settings from an application override changes made from the control panel.
If a setting cannot be changed from the application, use the MFP control panel, MarkVision Professional, or the Web pages.

Printer keep printing same job

Check you menu on the printer to ensure that under copies it says 1. It's easy to hit the keys when in the menu under copies one key minus and you now have 999.

Check the default number of copies at the print driver side (when you hit "file print") to make sure it says 1 also.

Hope that helps you.
