Question about AEG Lavamat W1050 Front Load Washer
In the middle of a program, my Lavamat machine stopped working and started to flash the End light 5 times. I turned it off, and when I try to reprogram it, it only flashes 5 times the End light, but nothing happens.
The manual says nothing about the end light flashing 5 times.

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean(ref manual). There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.

I had same problem. I can confirm that it is the exit pipe into standpipe blockage/restricted flow. No more 5 flashes for me now. Please add my findings to any other forum you may know of. Cheers.

You will need to change the carbon brushes in the motor. Tip machine 45 deg backwards you might need someone to hold for you and look at motor underneath you will see 2 black carbon brushes remove these and replace if worn then retry machine also make sure the wires to the motor are ok.
