If you have overclocked the computer then put everything back to standard, that can do it. Try reinstalling windows, and when asked repair the windows already installed. Download seatools and run the long test, it is a better way of checking if the alarm is correct. Switch the computer off for an hour, sometimes the SMART test just goofs off for no reason.
