The tv CRT( picture tube) have a radiaton posion infected in ur tv picture tube. This is how u discharge the CRT(picture tube) get the posion out.Take the tv back cover off.Take video board that connected to the CRT(picture tube) out.Plug it in,so u have a live current to the CRT(picture tube).Find a wire like an AV cable, should be find. One side of the metal, grounded to the metal frame somewhere.Take a long needle plier grab the other side of the AV cable wire, not the metal,(Caution high voltage live current).Come very close to the open CRT(picture tube).U will have a live current arc, than u,will hear a big "POP".U,just discharge the CRT(picture tube). The tv now the CRT(picture tube),now it good,it clear of posion infected in ur tv picture tube. Now,unplug ur tv.Put ur tv,back together.Hook up ur tv signal cable and plug in ur tv,now ur tv picture, will be clear, completely.I do this many times to dicharge fuzzy CRT(picture tube). When i was a tv Tech.for the SONY TV Corporation.

Picture gets fuzzy especially the writting on 2000 Sansui tv

This could be multiple things. If the fuzzy picture is on your regular cable channels and the tv is hooked up directly to the cable then it is a signal issue. Your cable signal is probably too low because it is either split too many times, a splitter went bad, a piece of cable went bad, you have RG-59 cable rather than the much better RG-6 cable. Another solution is if there is a vcr hooked up, the cable jack on the vcr could have gone bad, the vcr power could be on which will cause a fuzzy screen. If you have a vcr try to bypass it and hook directly to tv. If that fixes you problem then it may be the vcr or the wire from the vcr to the tv. If you have no vcr then I recommend buying a cable amplifier and hooking it up. This is a band-aid solution but it could work long term if it's just a matter of weak signal. If that does not fix your problem I would recommend calling a cable professional to evaluate your problem. Could be the line from the pole to your house or any of the wiring in your home.

Fuzzy picture

have you taken off the screen and tried to clean the lens as well as the mirrors inside the set?

Philips 34pw9818 fuzzy screen

Inside the set you should see a large part with a red wire coming out the top. That is the flyback transformer. There will be 1 or 2 controls on the back of it. One should be labeled screen and one focus. Carefully adjust the focus one until the picture is again in focus. Please note that in that area are high voltages (33,000V) that can be dangerous. Be careful where you touch. IT is best to have a mirror so you can see the picture while adjusting the focus control.

Fuzzy connection on my samsung DLP HLN567W

Try the DVD player on another component connection on the TV. If the picture is still distorted try another DVD player or something with component output. If thre picture is normal with another input device then the issue is the DVD player,

Model 34pw8520 picture got fuzzy, then fuzzy, clear, fuzzy clear, then went blank (black). Picture tube? how much to repair?

sounds more like the flyback. What is the chassis number of your set. The flyback if thats what it is would cost under 50 if you replace it yourself maybe 150 if a shop does it. But post the chassis number as the chassis number would make it easier to try to figure out if its the flyback or not.

Change your input source. You are probably on Input Source "TV". My HDMI cable is plugged in INPUT 4 so make sure that your TV is set to the right INPUT.
