Hi, I recently purchase the docking station with the A/V out cords, when the cords were attached to my television the output picture was a poor resolution. Is there any way of increasing the resolution of the picture? Any help would be appreciated
The resolution would depend on the quality of the image itself.if u are taking a picture with a digital camera for example, take it on 5megapixel rather than 2megapixel. 5mp will giv better resolution so the output would be better. so no,there is no way of increasin the resolution of the picture.

The end of the charger cord assembly which attaches to the machine itself is held in place securely by a friction-fit connection. You should be able to use something like a flat-bladed screwdriver to free the end of the charger cord from the docking station. Then with the docking station removed from the wall, you should be able to disconnect the charger cord completely from the rear of the dock, following the route shown in the image below:

Put smaller part of bag docking system on first. Seperate it from the other. It has to be pushed on past plastic lip around hole. It should feel very tight. Then attach larger part of bag dock onto the smaller one.
I had the same issue. I tried opening the dock and could not find anything wrong. It seems the charger was delivering sufficient voltage. So I disconnected power to the charger and reconnected couple of times and it started working again. My charger has a LED light and based on the brightness of the light you can findout if the output voltage is close to 20 volts.
Hi there,
you should try plugging from the output port of the laptop to the input port of the docking station, remember the source is coming from your laptop going to the docking station.
Now for the microphone once you have the settings right the line in jack should work properly.
Hope this helps!
why dont you disable hibernation as it seems the dynadock is outputting a signal that is the maximum that your external monitor / tv is capable of showing
Try updating to BIOS to version A16 from http://support.dell.com Ensure you are not attached to the docking station when flashing the BIOS. Once updated, connect the 90W adapter to the docking station, connect your laptop to the dock, and power on using the docking station power button.
a usb cable will work... the docking stations are handy as you just put the camera/camcorder into the docking station ... no extra cord... often has the charger built in as well
