Toshiba Satellite A65-S1064 Need help Please

you can do power cycle on the laptop. turn off the comptuer. unplug the ac adapter and remove the battery pack. press and hold the power button for 10 secs to drain all excess power on the computer. put in back the battery and ac adapter. if it doesn't help, do recovery. if your computer is overheating, visit one of the service centers of toshiba to check the cooling module and system board. just make sure that you're still under warranty because if not then you're gonna be charged for the diagnosis and repair of the laptop.

i hope this info helps you.

Hard drive wipe issue

It appears you have some kind of web access so I woulld start at the Toshiba site to look for drivers and download to an optical disk for installation into your laptop.
Most public libraries have terminals and on request, on your cost, they will burn a CD for you or allow you to burn one on your own blank.
Those drivers might also be already on whatever Toshiba disks supplied with the system.
