Install I bought a new computer and went to install my lexmark x1150 printer but I no longer had the soft wear is their another way to install the printer a download on line or anything ? please help thank you. fui a net

Hi there,

• Unplug the printer cable from the computer.
• Unistall the printer drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the printer appications
• restart the computer
• try to download drivers from the website
• after installing the cannon drivers and software it will ask you to connect the printer. 

• then you can connect the printer and print a test page.

Your printer is compatible, you need to download and install updated software, see here: Windows Vista Compatibility Lexmark Lexmark X1150

Also unplug printer usb cable before installing drivers, and start installer file using right mouse button click, and then the option 'Run as administrator. Also disable antivirus/firewall before installing.

1100 and 1150 drivers are the same thing as far as drivers are concerned for Lexmark machines.
