I have a Acer travelmate 4230 laptop. When I'm using Skype, I am trying to activate webcam however I get a message webcam has failed. Do you know what the problem is?

Go to your device maneger in the system properties (by right clicking the My Computer icon and go to properties click the tab Hardware and then go to Device Maneger) check if your cam is working properly and check if its enabled
regarding w/ your USB you can check it there....

Acer travelmate 4230 black screen but can still see whats on screen and works perfect on external monitor. How to fix??

Still using an external monitor because the screen on the laptop it out of services. Try to found the same screen on the internet an buy it. Remenber a new sceen is one of the most espensive part.

What is the F key to restore my Acer Travelmate 4230 to Factory Settings? I want to restore the Factory Windows Vista on my Laptop

Generally it is suppose to be F11 key.

On couples of computers we use F11 so it should work for you dear.

My Acer Travelmate 4230 shuts off automatically after 20-30 minutes of use. Also sometimes the screen goes black even though the power is still on.
