How do you remove rear headrests?

Tracy, Some just pull straight up and out, there may be a pin hole, lever or button just under head rest which will release and allow head rest to be pulled up or pushed down, it does take some force as they do like to get stuck.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Check the fuse first and then check the wiring coming from the taped off one to see if it has power. Then check the harness to see if they are connected to the same power source, which may be the missing one.

Remove rear seat impala2007

To remove the rear seat, pull up on the front of the seat bottom, it should be hooked in place by spring type clips. After you get the front edge up, pull out the seat. This should expose the bolts/screws that hold the seat back in. Look below and there should be a couple of screws holding the seatback to the car body. Remove these and then you can pull the seat back out of the car.
