I was watching a movie last night and I tried to lower volume to answer the telephone and remote was unresponsive...no big deal right,so i end the phone convo and replace batteries in remote..still nothing. Next I try to power off with the remote and still its unresponsive. I then try to use the button panel controls on the set itself and they are also unresponsive.
My TV has been on ever since,I'm afraid if I unplug the set (hoping for a reset) it will not turn back on.
Picture is still perfect and sound is also good (just no controls of the TV)
Help!!!
Hello ChupacabraV2,
This is a scene from some horror movie. I bet , if you unplug it, the TV will still be on!!....Just messing with you. Its been several days since you posted this problem. Please post update if there is any change. I don't think you have the TV on all this time. Let us know
Best regards

Well...Goodnews. A week or so after posting my problem here I had a power outage due to Thunderstorms (not rare at all for this rural town) and once my power was restored, I used the TV remote and BLAM....Tv turned on like normal all controls have been working flawless ever since.
So,in the end all I needed to do was unplug for a few mins and the unit reset to factory settings.
Sorry for not posting this sooner.
