Hello, if you already changed toner cartridge, and problem is still there, the fuser unit will need to be serviced or replaced.

SOURCE: Printer only prints on the left side and wrinkles up the paper on the left side

Hi there it could be that the fuser or the drum unit has some sticky labels attached to it check these units also check the paper feed path as there may also be some obstruction causing the paper to crease and crinkle.

SOURCE: hp laser jet 2430 dtn prints lines on left side of paper

Hi Karent503:
It sounds like you fuser assembly is worn. The part on the fuser assembly that you are having a problem with is the heat roller assembly located in the fuser. You can have a technician replace that for you at you local HP repair center, Her is the part number for the fuser assembly.

SOURCE: Paper wrinkles on left side when printing

It is the fuser film. Most of these printers will have this problem at about 30,000 printed pages (a relatively small number compared to the 300,000 pages the printer is supposed to last according to HP). The fuser film starts to slide to the right and it starts getting ripped by the gears inside.
The only thing you can do is replace the whole fuser inside (probably the easiest solution), or try replacing the fuser film. You can search online for a fixing kit that comes with the fuser film and the grease needed for about $35.
Hope this helps, best regards.

SOURCE: Starts to print but jams on left side.

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Take the toner cartridge out of the printer. Shake it side to side. Reinstall it and print something.
See if that fixes the output.
Could also be the transfer roller.

I have an hp2430, it is pringinting shadows along the left edge of the papers and a line along the right side. I have printed a cleaning page 3 times and replaced the cartridge, running the cleaning page...

the line could be caused by a scratched DRUM unit or a contaminated trasfer roller... And the shadow is probably a broken MICA ROLLER in the FUSER,

To get rid of the line (if the drum is OK) you need a mantenance KIT for that model, (pickup roller, transfer roller, separating pads etc...), for the shadow you need a new FUSER

Cheers!

There is a faint background shadow covering the

remove toner/drum unit from the printer. remove toner from drum unit and shake toner cart. side-side to loosen toner inside. On top front of the drum unit there is a purple/blue button that will slide right-left. Do this a few times to clean the wire. If there's a lot of loose toner, take a vacuum and clean carefully. Put everything back inside. With front door still open, hold GO/Control button down until all lights have lit, then let go, close front cover.

If you still have the shadow over the page, it's most likely the toner cart and you need to buy a new one (or recond.-refill) at someplace like Office Depot or Staples.
