None of them will because this tv is newer than the remote : when the remote was being designed and its codes stored the tv was not designed yet so its codes could not have been added to the remote's collection.
All you are left to do is to perform a code scan, maybe one of the codes destined for another brand of tv will partially match yours and give you basic control. If even that fails there is nothing else to do - this remote doesn't have any codes matching your tv. You will have to buy and use another universal remote if you still want to use a single remote for both devices.
It's tough trying to find OEM (manufacturer's) remotes. You could purchase a universal remote and program it to your set. Mintek doesn't have many codes and I believe 259 should do it. Good luck :)
I would check out the Harmony 510 remote control. It may be a little pricey but it is the best universal remote on the market for the money. It also allows you to control your DVD unit as well as your TV without the requirement of selecting which one.Harmony remotes are activity based in the you pick what you want to do such as “Watch TV”, “Watch DVD” , “Watch VCR” etc.. Then It turns the appropriate units on and then sets them to the correct input.Makes it real easy once set up.Another advantage is the IR codes are stored on line and constantly updated so new products and codes can be added. Buy a universal remote. See if they will let you check if the correct code for your DVD is in the documentation while you are in the store. If not then make sure you can return it if you cannot find the code. The universal remote manufacturer may have a web site to find the code for your unit that will program their remote.
I called Mintek about this same issue and they told me there are no codes for this TV so you can't use a universal remote. I won't recommend their products to anyone anymore.
The following site has numerous remotes and universals I would recommend the phillips universal remote, as Its one of the easiest to program and works hundreds of models. Heres a link to their site http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
As far as I know, no regular universal remote will work with the mintek TV/DVD's.
I have heard that the "Kameleon" remote, from radioshack works with them.
I had the same problem, so I ordered a replacement original remote from ebay for $20. It was the RC-600 for mine (DTV-265 26" LCD/DVD)
