not a battery problem. Maybe I should have stated that earlier. Works for everything else other than the settings tab.

The other remote worked for the wep key. I still dont understand why the main remote wont work on the jukebox for these type of functions.

I have the same problem with new batteries. Very frustrating. Somebody. Can you use the machine itself to enter the wep code?

Did anyone find a solution to this problem? It has just happened to my remote and I have put new batteries in. I keep getting 'function not available' when I go into 'settings' so my station cannot connect to the centre anymore. It's so frustrating, can anyone help please.ThanksJenny

Have been playing with the system ALL afternoon!! Eventually I found I could enter the settings and WEP key with the Station remote instead of the Centre remote. So far so good!

I have a philips streamium WACS7000/05. I am unable to play CD's as everytime i put it in, it just ejects it back out again as if it cannot read it. I have tried several CD's all with the same issue.

I had the same problem during the warranty period of my WACS. The result was that the laser reading the CDs was faulty and it was replaced. Since the laser was replaced it has been working fine

PHILIPS MAGNAVOX TV PR1910 C125 DATED 1995

Is the Remote you are using an original factory supplied one from Philips?
If NI, then get one. You could ask the local Philips / Magnavox dealership, tho I have my doubts, from the age of the TV. If the dealership has one, yopu could borrow it for amn hour or so. Then use it to go to Menu>SETUP> DEMO or MENU>DEMO>DISABLE and disable the Demo function.
Otherwise, as you said, Out Front of the House on Garbage Pick UP day.

Repairing color television philips

Some tv's let you select menu from the buttons on the tv,on of the buttons will say menu and the volume and channel buttos will have a double function like an arrow to the right and left and arrow up and down, they also have a buttos that says select, press menu and use the others buttos to move thru the menus until you get to the color bar,if it is at minimum adjust it so you get your color back but if it is already in the middle the tv needs to be service.Philips sells universal remote controls that are already program to work your tv being a philips and you dont have to programe it and you can also access the menu.
