Forgot my password on my linksys wireless G broadband and i cant sign in from my laptop

Which password you are looking for?
If you are looking for wireless network password then you will need to access the router setup page and check the wireless settings.
IF you are looking for password to access router settings then default password of Linksys router is admin.

Hello. You will get the security through a router's page. If you don't how to access the router's page and retrieve your password from there, just right-click the title How to Retrieve Wireless Password or PIN of your Linksys Router .

try the default password like admin or password if doesn't work

reset your wireless and configure again

please follow the following steps:
1) Click Start > run > cmd > ipconfig (enter) and note down the Deafult gateway should be some numbers like 192.168.1.1 etc 2) Open internet explorer and type those numbers in the address bar and press enter 3) now you will get the router page, login with following details username: admin password: admin or password 4) and in wireless settings you can find the password (WEP) to connect the IPhone

open ur system in safe mode and then go to control panel and remove ur password

what you want exactly?password for what? username and password for internet in subscriber? or just WEP for wireless key password?
if you forgot the password for username and password for subscriber....theres an option,i dont know what kind of subscriber do you have in your country...if you forgot the username and passowrd you can ask in the subscriber.
regarding in the WEP password for wireless,it doesnt matter,try this..
type 192.168.1.1 in the internet toolbar
username:admin
password:admin
and you can see the configuration,check the wireless settings for WEP...

To reset the router you need to push that pinhole in the back...make sure you got all your (ethernet etc. password)numbers to type back in...do it only as the last resort...how long have you had the router password forgotten.

make sure that modem is connected to the linksys, and cords are properly seated.
if cords are seated correctly, hard wire computer to linksys first.
second, access the linksys software thru 192.168.1.1 on the address bar on internet explorer browser.
third,if you will see pop-up box asking for username and password.username must be left blank and password must be set to admin.
forth,inside the linksys software try to access wireless settings.

Since you forgot the security ket for the wireless network you need to access the router setup page using the a computer that is working fine with the router,
On the internet exploreer address bar of the working computer type in 192.168.1.1 , then that should be asking you for a username and password, just leave the username blank and password is admin. If tha admin password didn't work try typing your commonly use password.
If you're already on the setup page of the router, Just go to wireless tab then there's a wireless security sub tab there where you can find the security key that you need...
