I lost wifi list and can not get on line w/the 10.1" dragon touch tablet, pls help me thanks

If you don't know the secure settings of your own router, the only thing you can do is login as an Admin, and reset the thing. Then setup everything from scratch. Don't forget, all other devices that still have the "old" password, need to know the new password and the settings, to be able to connect again, after a reset.

Cannot connect with wifi on mobile.

For wifi connection:
1. Make sure that you have a working modem router in your premise.2. Turn the modem/router on.3. Select settings icon from your mobile phone.4. Select Wireless Connection or WI-FI connection.5. Select options, then select connect.6. You will be asked for the WEP or WPA key. This is depending on what is the security option that you selected in the modem settings. (for modem settings you can contact your internet service provider or OEM for the modem)7. If you are aware of your pre shared key, just type it in the password option from the mobile screen.8. Once connected, you can use the wifi as your active connection access.

My dlink dir 300 was working fine with our 2 laptops. i bought a blackberry phone and tried to set up wifi connections. blackberry phone asked me to enter some nos. for the router. so i did. then our...

Hello,

1. Restart the router by plugging it off and back on
Try to connect again

If that does not work,
go to the router's configuration page
Make sure you have DHCP enabled to assign ip addresses

Also on the devices, check to have Wi-fi turned on, and iP address to be configured automatically.

Please check and provide feedback

I use Thomson ST585 v6 which automatically connects my desktop, but do not know password to allow visitors to connect their laptops, can I retrieve this, or can they connect if I press the black button on...

The black button on the front panel of 585's is to enable / disable the wireless network (WiFi). If the WiFi is enabled with a password setting the led on the front panel is green, if the WiFi is enabled without a password setting (free to all) the led is red. If your desktop is connected with a cable at 585, you can just use the button in order to enable (or disable) the WiFi for the visitors. If you want something more secure you can set the WiFi with a password but in this case you must tell your visitors the password in order to acess the WiFi. It's up on you to decide the way you want to use the WiFi. Of course if you need help to set up the WiFi password post me a reply.

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply also.

Setup security

To set up a network key (password to access the network), follow these steps:

Open your browser and go to 192.168.0.1
Depending on your router's model number, the username/password combination will be different. Try admin/(blank), admin/admin, or user/(blank), where (blank) is not putting in a password at all.

If you look through the tabs and option pages, you will see a section for WEP or Network Key. A 64-bit WEP key is enough, you do not need a 128-WEP or a WPA key.

Make sure you apply the settings before closing the page.

Everything is working very well on my di524

Hi,

To my knowledge, the only password that could be set/changed is when you log into to your DI524 web configuration page. Once the WiFi router is setup and running, you can also changed. There is no password required for your wireless clients (users). There is however a provision for Security key which could be WEP, WPA or WPA-PSK. All of these could be accessed upon entry to the web configuration page of the DLink DI-524.

This page is an emulator that can help you be familiar how things are done to configure your WiFi router.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
