The audio on my Samsung TV does not work. I took it apart and checked the speakers, which work fine. I've tried using the remotes buttons, TV buttons, Pressing mute/un-mute, plugging in a DVD player to tryaudio on input/av1/av2, also I didn't mess with it for a couple months hoping it would magically work. What more possible resolutions or tricks are there to try? 42in., rear projection TV, silver, and it is a Samsung Model# : HCN4226W. The quicker i can get some help the better because I would hate throwing it away.... Thank You

I have seen that sometimes the solder becomes loose on the input board. If you are under a warranty I would call and get someone to check it out.

SOURCE: i have a samsung rear

You have a convergence problem. It is much easier to replace the whole module, than just the STK's, no soldering required..It is so easy to do and electronics skill level is not required. One screw and five connections(plug in) is all it takes. The part number you need to order is BP95-00142E convergence amp. I would google search it and find it at the lowest cost

SOURCE: Can't switch from AV2 to AV1 with Samsung DVD-VR375 DVD Recorder / VCR Combo

To be able to select AV1, you have to first go into the setup menu and set the control set top box setting to OFF. I think you go to the menu >> setup >> features >> set top box control >> select OFF. Note that this has the side effect of erasing any previously stored timer settings.

SOURCE: Sound quit on Samsung rear projection TV

We solved the problem by purchasing a surround sound system and hooked it up to the Cable box thus bypassing the TV speakers. It was a cheaper fix than having a TV repair service guy come out and we have even better sound! Thanks anyway!

Hi, I'm using the Samsung HT-E330K. It works but does not speak out. The power display is fine but no sound

If your Samsung HT-E330K home theater system is not producing any sound even though the power display seems to be working fine, there are several potential causes and troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. **Check Volume Levels:** Make sure the volume on the home theater system and the connected TV (if applicable) is turned up and not muted.
2. **Check Audio Source:** Verify that the correct audio source is selected on the home theater system. If you're using multiple input sources (DVD, TV, AUX, etc.), make sure the right input source is selected.
3. **Audio Cables:** Ensure that all audio cables are securely connected to both the home theater system and the audio source (TV, DVD player, etc.). Sometimes, loose or faulty cables can result in no sound.
4. **Speaker Connections:** Check that all speakers are properly connected to the home theater system and that the speaker wires are securely inserted into the appropriate terminals.
5. **Audio Settings:** Go through the audio settings on both the home theater system and the connected TV (if applicable). Ensure that the correct audio output settings are configured.
6. **Mute Function:** Double-check that the mute function on the remote control or the home theater system itself is not engaged.
7. **Speaker Balance:** Check the speaker balance settings to ensure that sound is not unintentionally directed to one side or speaker.
8. **Reset to Default Settings:** If you've made any changes to the settings recently, consider performing a factory reset to revert to the default settings.
9. **Firmware Update:** If there is a firmware update available for your home theater system, consider updating the firmware as it might resolve any software-related issues.
10. **Test with Different Source:** Test the home theater system with different audio sources to rule out issues with a particular device.
11. **Test Speakers:** If possible, disconnect each speaker one at a time and test the audio to identify if a particular speaker or speaker wire is causing the issue.
12. **Check Speaker Impedance:** Ensure that the speakers' impedance matches the specifications of the home theater system. Mismatched impedance can affect sound quality.
13. **Contact Support:** If you've tried these steps and still have no sound, consider contacting Samsung customer support or seeking assistance from a professional technician for further troubleshooting and repair.
Remember to refer to your device's user manual for specific instructions related to your model.

Samsung 60f5350bf plasma no voice or audio

Open up the TV select menu, and select Audio, and to ensure that the TV speakers have not been turned off . The TV's speakers might of have been turned off because somebody had connected the TV to a soundbar system, or a surround sound stereo system, or Bluetooth headphones. Check the audio source of the device and ensure that it has not been put on mute.
To view or modify this setting for most of Samsung TV models, press the Menu button on your TV's remote control and then select the Sound menu option. Select TV Speaker and then set the TV Speaker option to on.

I have a Samsung LE40B650T2 - no sound direct from the TV

It sounds that the sound processing section [digital circuts] are working well, and the fault must be either to the speakers, settings or to analogue audio amplifier section. Make sure that the Mute function is OFF. If it is OFF, and still you do not get audio output by tV speakers, surely the fault must be to audio amplifier circuits, provided speakers are OK. If your TV has a headphone out socket, this socket should also checked for proper interconnection.

I think that you missed to check its speakers. Check it. If they are found OK, the audio output section circuit should be troubleshooted.
