MayTag Neptune TL washer machine keeps showing error "od" with a loud beeping sound. It has had this problem off and on (usually after every nine loads), I have been using the magnet trick up and down

Sounds like your pump is clogged. Usually a dime or nickel made it's way throw the hose & lodged in the pump. Remove the back panel and remove the hoses off the pump. Two screws hold the pump in remove those & inspect the pump through the rubber flap

Maytage Neptune TL gives od error code. Tried unplugging the machine. Tried many things, but nothing is working.

Could be loss of signaling thru the left hand Lid lock;

Google "Sticky Neptune TL Washer FAV6800AWW" for the Service Manual and support for troubleshooting the OD error code.

You are going to have to pull the front cover off the machine and do an inspection for that water leak here is some support info.
The Service Manual for reference. Sears Parts Direct for reference.
Raise the top of the machine. Insert a flat blade putty knife approximately 2.5” from the left and right sides of the washer top, depress the spring tabs securing machine top to the washer base. See page 33 of the SM for putty knife insertion point.

5/16 nut driver or 5/16 ¼ socket on an extension to remove front panel see page 41 of the SM

About the “OF” alarm if it’s a valid error code it seems to be undocumented. Let me run this by you. I wonder if it could be something like valid “OP” error code with a bad segment of the second portion of the LED display. If your FAV6800AW would allow you to enter a Spin Only cycle the display would read “10” min for the countdown timer at the start of that cycle. Can you put the washer in a Spin Only cycle and see if the console display indicates “10”? You can then cancel the spin only cycle.
How did you make out with your previous “OD” error?

Maytag Washer, Neptune TL

This means the computer is not seeing that you opened the lid between cycles 3 times. So likely the lid locks are faulty. PLEASE rate my help as solved all other ratings dock us

if this worked fine before, then I am only guessing that the water inlet valve has malfunctioned. try filling the machine with a garden hose...any change? if still no go, then be sure to have a shop-vac handy to remove the water you just added.

Error Code "od" while trying to start machine

Could od mean overload? Reduce or actually weigh load and re-try
