I have a Sony KDL-46W3000 since January 2008:\r\nProblems phase 1 three months ago when I power on right half side darker than left side, after 3-5 minutes was normal. That condition worsens through time, it took longer to normalize. phase 2 problem - two months ago horizontal lines, some blinking of image, then after several minutes will have a normal display phase 3 problem- one month ago more darker area, some horizontal lines, blinkig or lightly unstable image, sometimes it goes "blank" no image, then i turn on and off an resumes as previous, one day it didn't normalize image but the following days didn't go "blank", like phase 2 problems. Note: When I said normal it refers that the image is similar as the original picture mode, like brand new. TV sound, functions and modes all are working well. jorozco

Hi I have an old school solution for your problem with your tv. Hit it!!!!! When you turn on your tv, go to it and lightly tap on the middle of the left frame. You should see it affect your screen. Do it until your screen is perfect. Hope it works.
