Motorola razr cant hear incomming call

My motorola razr..cant hear the person speak...does anyone has any idea?

    My phone rings but I can't hear person on the other end, they can hear me.

    Also when I dial out it shows that I am connecting but I hear nothing.

    Paulo, on speaker...its can be heard clearly...but if you disengage the speaker...nada.il try to remove battery .

That might be a little more work.
try your hands free, to see if you get sound
try someones else battery.
reset the phone to default.

This might help you to narrow the problem, If nothing works. you might haver to open it.

the phone's Microphone or Microphone IC is faulty. replace the Mic its under this place. or even just clean it maybe some dust would defect it.

Other person cannot hear me talk if they are talking
This is a common problem with speaker phones as well since they (as is your headset) forced to switch back and forth so microphone and 'speaker' are not on at the same time to prevent feedback. The squeal from feedback would be far more irritating. Your previous phone in conjunction with your headset were simply (and accidentally) a better combination.

  • you need to have the ringer and ear piece replaced.....so take the phone to a professional mobile repair store to have that done.

I cant recive incoming calls #?
that maybe a fault from your mobile provider....so it is best to speak to them over the phone but it is more effective in person., to get them to resolved the issue for you.

you need to replace the earpiece cable in your phone......take it to a mobile service center and have them replaced it for you or take it to a mobile technician.

Problem with heaing incoming and outgoing calls unless using speakerphone
I can't hear people that call me unless I put them on speaker phone. Called Motorola and they had me reset the phone but that did nothing. Any other suggestions?

Motorola Razr v3 stuck in mute mode. Finally find mute switch during a call, turn it off , says mute off with green arrow and then it reverts back to mute! No idea how phone got stuck on mute!
