i have had this as well they change models so quick but i looked on internet and found the factory outlet for spares ,all very well i thought but the model i had was bought new ten or more years ago and no parts were made anymore .so i just bought a new razor but made sure that when i bought it i had 3 sets of blades spare so hopefully they will last till iam pushing up daiseys

Same problem. Only after 2 months of buying silk epil 7 epilator, it stopped charging and is not working at all. There is very few customer service centres of Braun in India. So it is very difficult to contact them and show your product to find out the issue.

Plugged in india without transformer
It is hard to say. If the device has a fuse fitted inside then it may only be that needing replacement. If the motor or other circuitry is burned up, then just buy a replacement unit.

My Silk Epil 7 has stopped working, the epillator head has stopped rotating. I doubt that some hair has got stuck inside. Could ypu please help?
My Braun worked fine the last time I used it & would not come on when I tried it today. Worked on it & found it to be jammed with hair. Would not rotate. Scrubbed it with a toothbrush, started digging out the hair, forced it to rotate, scrubbed it some more, & rotated it some more. The more I worked with it the more hair kept coming out. It's rotating fine now. I think I'm going to clean it with my water pik. My Braun is the kind that can be used with water & the top part comes off. Haven't used it yet but I think I have fixed it. Wish I could get it apart to clean it out but the head of the screw is strange & I don't have anything that will turn it.

I bought the silk epic abt two hrs backs. It was working fine and just today when I took it out to use it the rotating wheels are not moving. Its still making noise the way it used to before but the wheels...
I called Braun at1-800-BRAUN-11 (1-800-272-8611) and learned that you may need to remove the head and replace it. If that doesn't work, it may need servicing. Hope this help!

My braun silk epil xelle is still working but not as good as i purchased it about 2 years ago. it doesn't sound and rotate powerful enough. i want to disassemble it but cant figure it out!
Probably a whole bunch muck is inside theyre (science Project ewe), are you sure you want to open it up? ok... there should some screws underneath the plastic covering but you will need to kind of rip that off and reapply some sticky appoxy after.
