No sound i have a systemax computer and have no sound, can u help me?

With some multimedia keyboards, it's easy to mute or turn down the volume from the keyboard. Many Systemax systems ship with this type of keyboard. The volume controls are usually at the top of the keyboard or on the right or left side of the keyboard.

However, since there are a number of different styles of multimedia keyboards, I'm not sure which key you would need to find. Look for a key with the speaker symbol (looks like a megaphone). Also look in the bottom right corner of the computer screen for the same symbol. If there is a red circle with a line, then the mute has been enabled. Otherwise, it may be that the volume was reduced. With a mouse it's easy to change the setting; just left click on that symbol in that section of the notification bar.

In some cases, speakers do fail. So if changing the volume doesn't work, try a different set of speakers.

Download the drivers to the computer you are using. Then burn them to a CD disk.

When you go to download the drivers, Note where they are going First. Write the name of the driver file down. Then look to see where it is going to be downloaded to.

See if it is going to your My Documents folder, (Documents in Vista)
(Start > My Documents for WinXP)
It may go to a sub-folder within the My Documents folder. Downloads.
Double-click on Downloads to see.

It may go directly to your desktop screen.
Have a fresh CD disk in the optical drive. (CD/DVD drive)
Right-click on the file name when you see it.
Left-click on Copy.

Then click on Copy to CD, or the name of your optical drive.

Windows running on the Systemax computer, put the CD with the drivers in it's optical drive.
Go to My Computer.
(Start > My Computer)
Left-click on My Computer.
Now double-click on the optical drive name (Letter. Example; (D:) drive)
Then double-click on the name of the Ethernet driver file.

The Installation Wizard should come up, and lead you through installing.
(Essentially click on Next, Next, and Finish)

Restart your Systemax computer.
Go through the process again to install the Audio (Sound) file.

Try to reinstall drivers

it is driver problem .reinstall your driver .if it also not works , please reply.

Cheer you up! You can install the drivers of the audio card by inserting the CD Utilities enclosed in your systemax from the vendor. Please install all the drivers , the chipset, audio, VGA, LAN USB. This will resolve your problems.

If you have no CD Utilities then go to the manufacuturer's website and then search and download the drivers of your system.

it sound like a monitor issue, does it have lines, or turn white?
sorry to say all monitors do not last as long as the computer
