Should be a 3.5mm audio jack or AUX on the front some radios use an additional left right input on the back , if there is a 3.5 in on the front just use a male to male 3.5 cable if the input is in the back use a 3.5 male to phono male(2) adapter , usually red and white
Change the Flex cable that connects from main chassis to the front face plate. This is a common problem with Dual drop down face plates, since the flexible wires break and lose connection.
No mine did that and what it is is there is a strip connecting the two faces and sometimes it gets stuck and u have to gently pull it out and it fixes the problem worked on mine
