SOURCE: Google chrome will not connect

Go to Options under the hood tab, There you will find the "change proxy settings" button. Click on that and go to "LAN Settings" button, and see if the "use proxy server" box is checked or not. If so, un-check it, and save the changes.Restart the browser , It should work after that.
Good luck

SOURCE: net ERR NO SUPPORTED PROXIES

Go into Google Chrome options, 'Under the Hood' tab, Hit the 'Change proxy settings' button, then the 'LAN settings' button, and make sure the 'Use Proxy' box is unchecked.
Also, try running System Restore if that doesn't do it. You might want to run an antivirus check because sometimes browser hijackers and malware change those settings.
Good luck!

Make sure that you have the proxy disabled in the lan settings: Top right wrench tool button --> Options --> Under the Hood --> Change Proxy Settings --> LAN Settings --> Uncheck use Proxy server for your LAN. Hit okay. Close Chrome, open it back up and see if that works.

Hi i have this problem Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown error. thanks

There are thousands of internet users asking for solution on the "Error 101 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET): Unknown error" that shows up every time they are connecting to the Internet. Normally this is an issue with the proxy settings
Open Google Chrome Click the Wrench Icon on the Right Side of the screen Click Under the Hood Choose Change Proxy Settings Check that 'Use a proxy server...' and 'Use automatic configuration script' options do not have ticks next to them. (If they do, untick them) Click Ok.
I hope this has answered your question. If you need further assistance feel free to contact us at [email protected]

I am getting "Error

you need to disable the proxy
just run this from the command line or modify your shortcut to run chrome: "C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --proxy-server
