Hello it's possible that the glass fuse may blown in the power supply inside the washer beware if you put another fuse in and it blows again the you have a dead short on the board someware also make sure you use the same rated fuse the value will be on the end of the fuse or on the fuse holder on the power board good luck

regards
shaun

Whirlpool duet washer power went of during a cycle

If the power is not reaching the m/c., switch off plug outlet remove the plug.
( safety measure ).

Now open the machine and check the fuse. If you trace the power cord you will reach the fuse area.

Washer wont work

This sounds like the lid switch went bad. If you put it back on the wash cycle and it agitates, but will not pump out and spin, more than likely it needs a new lid switch. If this helps, please rate my answer. Thank you. If it doesn't help, we will take it further and try and get you fixed up.

Washer gets no power

are you sure the outlet has power? make certain by plugging in a lamp or something else to the outlet first. the timer does have to get power to turn on the unit, but its not likely it is the problem.
try a different cycle and see if it wont run on any position. like fill, wash or spin. then if your outlet is ok, it could be the timer.
i dont think it is but it could happen. usually if the timer fails, it will work on some cycles but not all of them. if it wont work on any cycle then i would expect the outlet first.

Whirlpool duet sport washer powering off during spin cycle

I had this problem with new duet sport washing machine. Service was out to fix under warranty (4 trips!) replacing water sensor and boards. Finally checked outlet and was told no neutral. ?? Charged us for that visit since not covered. Plugged into another outlet and it worked. Had electrician in, replaced original outlet (although saw no sign of bad connection) and washer worked again! Yippee until today when I had the same issues. Tried in another 2 outlets and still shut down after a few minutes (and in those few minutes it never really ran as it should) Went out to get an outlet sensor ($8 at hardware store). Plugged in and found no errors. Started washer again and it did run and completed cycle. Although estimate 1 minute of final spin cycle took almost 25 minutes (on QUICK wash no less!) Will have to monitor. See if we get lights on outlet sensor next time washer doesn'twork, see what other things in house are running, etc. (although washer on dedicated line). ONLY change since this happenned: We replaced our 30 y.o. electrical box. You'd think this would be better???

Got a hoover washer /dryer wdm 1300 , it wouldnt empty properly, watched the impellor on the pump and some times it would run and then stop , a quick flick with a screw driver and away it went again ,also...

HI CHECK THESE....
Step 1: Make sure the washer is receiving power. Check the cord, the plug, and the outlet. If a wall switch controls the outlet, make sure the switch is working. Look for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers at the main entrance panel. If the unit is receiving power and still won't run, press the reset button on the control panel (if the washer has one).

Step 3: Make sure that both water faucets are turned on and that the drain and soap-saver return hoses are properly extended, without kinks. If the washer has a water-saver button, make sure the button is depressed; water may not circulate through the filter nozzle if the basket is not full and the button is not depressed.
Step 4: To make sure the water is the proper temperature, check the temperature selector switches on the control panel to make sure they're properly set. Also check the water heater temperature control. It should be set no lower than 120 degrees F.
