TV problem 46GW948 GE 48? Thomson Guide Plus GemStar

On our TV, 46GW948 GE 48” Thomson Guide Plus GemStar.
The picture needs to be lined back up. It is giving a double image. The cross hairs need to be adjusted. There is a red outline around each image. We cannot find our manual and this happened to our parent's tv a few years ago. The repair man adjusted it with a set of cross hairs. How do we get to those cross hairs? HELP! We cannot afford to buy a new tv right now. Thank you.

Removing parental lock on a ge/ modal num 46gw948

I have never seen the 948 have parental control lock---it's too old for support from Thompson (GE/RCA) so I will ask a question: what precisely is the set doing or not doing? Does it have the "Guide Plus" logo on the front of the cabinet?

Cracked screen

I think that Thomson is the manufacturer or distributor for GE parts, and Global INC is one of their distributers. keep that it mind when looking for your screen. and you might be able to get it at vancebaldwin.com good luck
