Pioneer HU UB Series Power Shortage (Pioneer DEH-p5000UB)

Pioneer deh 15 ub does not have intial setup option and my music plays bass and hardly and vocals at a low state.I need it to say rear rear

That is how the aux is designed. You will get full power only if the mp3 player volume is turned up all the way.

That means that the unit is either faulty, or one of the two powered lines required had not been connected.

The unit is reset by simply disconnecting the connector at the back.

This will not help in fixing the problem.

Ensure that unit is wired properly. Use a voltmeter to test wiring.

The ipod is supplied with a USB out cable and the head unit is USB compatible.It has a USB out.Connect the ipod "out "cable to the USB of the HU and switch over to USB mode on head unit. Switch on the ipod & play . As for erahs problem ,these pioneer head units have "switchable"AUX modes. with the power "off"(the HU power off)press the multicontrol at the centre for 3/4 seconds.options like "language etc will b displayed .AUX will be one of the options .select it ":on".now u can play your ipod through your head unit .
