Hi I have a problem with my LG Refrigerator model GC-L247SLUV it's not working it keeps on displaying code

Unplug the LG fridge and wait 20 minutes - Plug back into power - Many times the code will clear or reset. If not keep reading below... -The majority of the time it is the freezer fan causing the Er FF error code. The FF error code indicates that the freezer fan motor is defective.

Kenmore model 795.71306 refrigerator is displaying an ER FF code on the frigerator temperature control

This error code Er FF indicates a problem with the main control board. When the power cord is disconnected for 30 seconds and then reconnected, it resets the board. Sometimes this procedure corrects the problem and sometimes it does, for only a short period of time. Usually in this case, the main board will need to be replaced.
Here is the board to order.

Hi, here are the error codes and meanings for your Refrigerator

Error Code, All Error Codes will have an ER on the left side, followed by the error on the right:
Er IF - Icemaker Fan Error - This can be caused by frostaccumulation on or around the icemaker fan. Unplug the unit for 3-4hours to allow this to melt off. If error code persists, call CustomerService.
Er FF - Freezer Fan Error - This can be caused by frost accumulationon or around the freezer fan. Unplug the unit for 3-4 hours to allowthis to melt off. If error code persists, call Customer Service.
For remaining error codes, try unplugging the unit for a couple ofminutes to reset the unit. If the error code persists, call CustomerService
Er FS - Freezer Sensor Error
Er rS - Refrigerator Sensor Error
Er ds - Defrost Sensor Error
Er dH - Defrost Heater Error
Er CF - Cooling Motor Error
Er CO - Communications Error

Refrigerator displaying error "ER FF".

Error Code "Er FF" indicates a problem with the unit's freezer fan.

The freezer fan controls the temperature in the freezer. The source of this error is most likely ice buildup. As with the Er IF error, allowing the unit to thaw should resolve the issue.

This can be caused by frost accumulationon or around the freezer fan. Unplug the unit for 3-4 hours to allowthis to melt off. If error code persists, call Customer Service.

My lg refrigerator model GM-F228JTKA is displaying the message ER FF

The common service code ER FF is
Abnormal freezing
BLDC motor

Motor defect, hooked of lead wire
to fan, contact of structures with
fan, short or open of lead
wire(there is no signal of BLDC
motor more than 115 seconds in
operation of fan motor)

It appears you have a fan problem.

ER FF code

This is an error code that pertains to the evaporator motor but could also be the main board.
If the evaporator motor is running, the main board will probably need to be replaced.
It could be a wiring problem but it's not very likely.

If the motor is not running, some voltage checks will need to be made, at the motor and board, to determine which component has failed.
These checks require a meter and can be difficult to make, even for a technician.

LG refrigerator lrsc26944tt error code ER FF

I'm no major appliance repairman. However, after reading several posts, I investigated the issue further since I received an ER FF on the front panel. I have a LFX25960SW refrigerator. I pulled the top and bottom baskets out, and was able to take the back panel out from inside. There was a solid block of ice built up around both fans and wires. I took a blow dryer and gradually melted the ice around the fans and wires. Then, as I was able, I pulled the remaining ice chunks off of the wires. I put the thing back together and it cleared the message. My wife says no more LG appliances for us. :)

Er FF code is a freezer fan motor error. Check too see if there is a loose connection to the freezer fan. If not you may need a new fan motor.
