How do I set and clear tab on a supertype 330

you cant clear the margin you have to go over it with the key 2 Arrow going opposite side, and set a new one, samething left or right

Tab to the position press tab clr. To clear all tabs Press tab clr. then the repeat key, 2 beeps will sound. If you have a tab that won't clear it is probably the R. margin.

You probably have the R. margin there. Go to that margin, press but don't hold the mar rel key space to desired location press R. mar key.

The "MIDDLE TAB" is probably the R. MARGIN. Go to it, press but don't hold the MAR REL key, space to nthe desired location, press R. margin key.

The Olympia 330 is the same as the Nakajima AE-830. if you have lost your operators manual you can download the Nakajima version from WWW.NADIST.COM.
First just try resetting your tabs. If that dosn't work, you can reset to factory settings by doing the following...
SwitchPower OFF. While holding down the MARGIN RELEASE KEY switch the power back on...the machine will start printing a self-test page...let it run for about 10secs then switch the machine back OFF. wAIT 10 SECS then switch back On and the unit should be back to factory default settings. ** Note..this will also clear anything in memory.

It sounds like the R. margin is set there. touch mar rel key, space to the R. end touch R. margin key.
