The green clean light stays on all the time it is on the docking station

It's possible that the green clean light staying on all the time when the device is on the docking station is normal behavior. Many electronic devices have indicator lights that remain on when they are charging or in a standby mode. However, if you suspect that there may be an issue with your device, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: Make sure the device is properly seated on the docking station. Check to see if the contacts on the device and docking station are clean and free of debris. Try unplugging the docking station from the power outlet, waiting a few moments, and then plugging it back in. This can sometimes reset the device. Check the user manual for your device to see if there is any information about the green light staying on. Some devices may have a setting that allows you to turn off the indicator lights If none of these steps solve the issue, contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or recommend a repair or replacement if necessary.

My tomtom one gps can't get signal

When was the last time you updated the QuickFix of your TomTom? It helps your GPS to find the satellites.
Please, do the following:
1) Install "TomTom Home" software in your computer from www.tomtom.com
2) Start TomTom Home in your computer
3) Plug in the GPS dock to your computer's USB port and place the GPS on the dock. The green light on the bottom right of the GPS should turn ON to indicate that the GPS is getting power from the dock and charging
4) Start your GPS while being in the dock. If the GPS asks "do you want to connect to computer" answer "YES"
5) The TomTom Home software will detect the GPS and check if there are any updates for it. Then you'll be offered updates to install. Some are free, some are not. Be sure you choose to update "QuickFix".
Please, report back if you need further assistance

Green battery light on the archos 5 but when i disconnect it from dock or usb no green lights abd completely dead - won't switch on either in dock or out???

Power green LED light should come on, CHG green LED light should also come on showing the battery is being charged. Leave your unit in Suspend mode while charging it, DO NOT turn it completely off as "Shutting Down.." because it will not charge your battery.

I just purchased an almost new Archos 5 on eBay recently, and the first day I had it, happened to me that I left the unit off and charging on the Mini Dock with external AC power supply, after 13-14 hours the CHG light still wasn't blinking. Then I though maybe I have to leave the unit in Suspend mode rather than completely off, which I did, and in a matter of 3 hours it fully charged the battery.

Again, do not shut down completely the unit, leave it on Suspended mode, or even on, and connected it to your mini dock, after a while the screen will go blank the unit will go into Suspended mode by itself, and after 3 hours on external power supply or 8 hours via USB on PC should be completely charged and your CHG light should be blinking, indicating the battery is charged.

I hope this helped.

Remove Any Docking Stations or Port Replicators From the Computer Note: Docking stations and port replicators are optional equipment. If you are unsure if you have a docking solution attached to your computer, refer to Table 1 and Table 2 for examples. To remove the docking station or port replicator, perform the following steps: Shut down the computer. Remove the docking station: Universal Docking Stations: Disconnect the docking station's USB cable from the computer. D/Port or D/Dock: Remove any cable locks from the security slot on the right side of the docking station. Move the slide lock forward to the unlocked position. Press the Eject button and lift the computer from the docking station. C/Port II or C/Dock II: Remove any cable locks from the security slot on the left side of the docking station. Dell latatude D630 is docked/battery flashing 4 red 1 green

4 orange and 1 green can mean a battery malfunction, or it could be an indication that the battery is about to reach the end of its life cycle. When a battery is built, it has a planned expectancy. a date code is stamped in the electronics of the battery pack. as that date code is reached, the indicator lights on the computer let you know the battery (even if its working fine) is considered obsolete and needs to be replaced soon.

Kodak V530 won't upload pictures from docking station to comuter.

If your camera have a sd/mmc card just buy a sd card reader and plug it in your pc. it will transfer all your pictures to your computer.

My tomtom 510 was working fine until this morning when I set it in it's windshield dock. The green light to show that it's charging came on but nothing else. It's been on the charger all day but won't...

Remove the docking foot from the unit and expose the docking connectors. The reset button is at the bottom left of the body next to the connectors. It's hard to see but a paper clip will do the trick. Push just hard enough to here it click. Now it is reset.

TOMTOM GO 710

Could be a loose contact at the connection between the wire and at the gps unit.

Think the green light must be on at the charger port and also on the gps unit.

This green light can be found near the power button on the gps unit.

"check connections"

I am having a similar problem. I put mine in its dock, connected the USB cable to my computer, and pressed the USB button on the dock. The light turned green and after 30 or so seconds, the message Check Connections came up on the camera.
