Hi i have a cpmpaq presario 5000 was working great all of a sudden icon came up saying detected new hardware whichi didnt.. after that no internet said i wasnt connected to the internet... tried cliking systems under device manger networjk devices came up saidnot have enough resouces.. yesterday that did not come up but stil ccan not get internt says im not connected and something about network card etc can u help ty

Try resetting your modem by unplugging it for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in. If you have a router do the same for that. Restart your computer while you're doing this.

Another thing, open your network connections from the control panel. Click view network connections. Find your connection, it should say Local area connection. Right click it and select repair.

Hold down the FN Key + F6 (OR the corresponding F key for the touchpad)

The B1900 can have its touch pad turned on and off.

Its a good feature when you just want to use an external mouse.

Go here and select the type of notebook you have, whether it's an intel processor or an AMD processor. Follow the links to download your audio, network video, and wireless adapters as well as the motherboard drivers. Run each download and it will tell you step by step on how to install the manual ones and most of them will install automatically.
