Zanussi aquacycle 1000 washing machine spin problem

The belt came off the drum during a washing cycle.I managed to get belt back on, it doesnt seem streched or damaged.I rolled the drum around by hand and could feel the belt getting nearer the edge of the drum while turning it by hand.It wont seem to aline up correctly and keeps coming off during a wash.
Any help would be great

    Heard an unusual noise and a lot of vibration at spin cycle. cleared machine and checked inner drum for excessive play and haw it sounds as it was spun by hand. There seems a lot of vertical travel.



    any help or info would be appreciated

My zanussi aquacycle 1110 sounds like it is about to take off when it goes onto a spin cycle. Does anyone know what it could be? The big black spings are still in place inside the washer that hold the drum. It also rattles more than normal as well. Thankyou

This is possible due to a bearing collapse or bearing spider broken. this causes drum pulley to be out of line and the belt comes off

My zanussi aquacycle 1000. Programme knob is just cycling through the was cycle really quckly without the machine washing, the drum is moving slightly back and forth and sounds like its trying to engage...
Could be that the drive pulley behind the drum has loosened on the shaft. You do not say that you can hear the motor, but the drum moves slightly. Some machines have a shear pin which fails to prevent damage to the drum and motor. If you machine has one of these, it will be obvious when you get the back off. The lack of load on the motor could do strange things to the programmer. Good luck.

Hi.

If the machine is filling up, then cycling and draining, the problem is usually the belt. The belt is reached disassembling the appliance . If the belt is OK the problem is usually the motor or the motor control unit, which is a sealed electronic module connected to motor and to control board and located inside the washer. If the motor has volts and does not turn, then the motor must be replaced. In some less common case the control module itself may be responsible. Motor assembly and belt are located at the back of the drum and get accessed disassembling top and back of the washing machine.

If the machine does not go through the cycle, but it starts draining from start, then the problem is overfill detected. In that case check the drain system, the drain hose, the inlet valve and the pressure switch.

When my zanussi aquacycle 1200xc is on the fast spin cycle the spinning drum seems to be getting noisier of late.
Probably the main bearings are going, spin the drum by hand, there should be little or no noise at all, if it feels rough, or noisy, then bearings are failing.
Please rate my solution.

No spin & drum is very noisy during cycle ,like a jet engine
Sounds like the drum bearings have gone and the belts come off.
Im afraid this is an expensive repair and not a diy job.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

May be the Bearings.Open door and try moving drum, hold at top of drum and pull foreword and back if drum loose main bearings gon. Replace bearings.
