Model # tells me it is a convection oven. You can't dry clothes in a convection oven. they end up smelling like last nights dinner.

Please check the model #. there may be relay that controls the power to the heating element. this relay could be not functioning correctly, or it could be in the timer. maybe the thermostat that monitors the interior temperature is gone. It could be sticking closed. tough to say with the model number.

SOURCE: maytag dryer not blowing hot air (2yrs old)

If the vent is blocked, it will not stop the heat, it will only restrict the air flow.

Generally a couple of things can cause the heat to stop.
Either the thermostat or the element.
I would first suggest the element.
It may be fatigued therefore the internal wire within the element becomes fragile and eventually breaks down. Although it is an electrical item, it is mechanically built and can fail.

In some dryers the element is held in clips.
These clips can cut into the element.

The thermostat maintains temeperature but again, it is mechanically built and can also break down.

If you are not capable of inspecting or troubleshooting the internals of the dryer (i.e remove the cover and look for the failurer), then have it inspected by a repairman. There is not too much that can go wrong with a dryer. The most expensive part wuld be the motor that spins the drum.

Audi a4 2.8l no heat

take the top off the filler cap run engine to boil. keep it full off water to the top. you will see air bubbles coming out as the engine gets hotter. squeeze the pipes on the rads to help the air come out. when fan kicks in turn engine off and leave to cool down.while you are doing this make sure the fan for heater is off but is on full heat. can have fan on number one on speed that is fine.

check your blower motor under the passenger side of the dash, round plastic box three screws pull it out something might have fallen though your cowl and chewed up the fan blades. as for the ac your r-12 is probly empty or has a leak bring it to a local garage and have them flush and fill your cooling system. heater would be your thermostat not openig properly, by far your cheapest fix under ten dollar part.

Laptop shuts off afer 5 minutes

Sounds like your laptop might be overheating. Does it reboot successfully immediately after is shuts down after 5 minutes or does it have to sit awhile before it reboots successfully?

If you can't boot it right back up after it shuts down, then it is definitely running hot and will only boot back up successfully after it sits awhile to cool off.

Things that cause it to run hot:
1) Dust... Dust clogged in the vents, fans and around the cpu and heat sink.
2) A Fan is not working
3) The Thermal Paste around the CPU and Heat Sink has dried up or is too thin to keep the unit cool.

For the best results you'll have to take the laptop apart to remedy the situation especially if you need to get to the Fan, CPU or Heat Sink.

You can try a can of compressed air and blow out the vents and fan area, that might work for a while but you'll be blowing the dust in. It's best to take it apart and blow the dust out.

Dry run hot for awhile and next time I use it it blows cold air.

Hi, this could be because your fluff filter needs cleaning out or there is a blockage in the air exhast causing the machine to overheat and the thermostat to cut out until everything cools down, if that isn't the problem then perhaps suspect a faulty time switch or bad connections on the heating element.

hope this helps

E4 in an innovair a/c

It sounds like you have a freon leak and may need a charge. When there is a leak, the compressor will run for awhile but without the proper charge, it will heat up and kick on on thermal overload. After the compressor cools, the unit will come back on. Have the unit serviced by a professional.

Intermittant hot/cold air from heater

Had the same problem with my Mazda6 awhile back. Took it to the dealer and they found the radiator wasn't holding pressure. They replaced the whole radiator under warranty (WHEW!). Not sure how to check for that kind of thing, but it's a start.
