Asus eee pc 4g Camera can not be found. It was ok, but since i re-installed my windows, its not working and it can not be found.

 in 99% procent windows xp contains drivers for eepc 4g webcam, at least 10 of them that i have reinstal win xp on them, any way if when u open my computer and down after removable device is not the camera u can try to install chipset driver, here is link for all drivers that u need for eeepc 4g:

now l use wendows7 in my asus eee pc1001ha after download wendows 7 before my camera lose in table how can l attach in wendows my web came camera,

You can download the drivers from ASUS WEB site. Selectyour model motherboard/computer/laptop, and make sure you select the Windows XPor Vista version of the drivers that matches your Windows operating system.Please click on this link to their WEB support site : - http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

you can install windows XP from a Pen Drive/Flash Drive provided that your motherboard supports booting from USB drives.

Download and run The Windows Installer CleanUp Utility found here
After its installed run the program
In the white box you will see list of programs installed
Click on Avira and then click remove.
Restart your computer

Well, Micorosoft Windows xp * Service pack 1 & 2 work best on laptops while sevice pack 3 is sort of a scrue up for laptops. So My sudjestion is do install sevice packs 1 & 2 but not 3.

First download the camera driver here.

Update the driver that the usb stick is using.

Some times BIOS disable webcam after updating it.

To enable it do the followings:

1. Restart your Eee PC.
2. Press F2 while booting (to enter BIOS sittings)
3. Go to "advanced" tab (by pressing right arrow)
4. Select "Onboard Device Configuration" (by pressing down arrow)
5. From there you can find if "Onboard Camera" is enabled or not.
6. If not, just press enter to pick "Enabled"
