Not all the speakers working

Open your audio control panel and set it to 5.1 surrond sound. Not all speakers will work unless a dolby surrond sound signal is being sent out. There will be a pseudo surrond setting which will emulate the 5.1 for you in the audio control panel

Hi, i have a acoustic guitar but i do not know how to tune it with the Matrix Chromatic Tuner SR-1050

That tuner has a built in microphone to listen for your guitars sound. Turn it on and set is close to your guitar as you tune it.

Center speaker and wireless rear speakers have no sound

I had the same issue, but apparently...it's not an issue. What I discovered is that the system was fine, but the station I was watching didn't broadcast in 5.1 surround sound. Therefore, only the front speakers will have sound. Try putting a dvd in, or listening to a gameing system through it. If you don't have sound after listening to something that puts out full surround sound, then you know you have an issue.

Rear speakers no sound

you have to have it set to one of the sound settings to get surround sound , and if what you have hooked up does not have a digital connection ( optical or coax) you can not get dolby digital surround either
if it is the stereo your listening to then set a sound to get virtual surround sound ( unless you have a digital tuner that supports digital signal input

How does Logitech X-540 speakers connect to a laptop?

You connect the green cable from the subs (the green one of the three, the other two being black and yellow) to where your headphones or speakers go into your laptop. Then you make sure the matrix button is activated on the x-540. This will make sound come from all of the speakers and it will use the sub, i.e. virtual surround sound.

To do it properly without using the matrix mode and trying to enable actual surrond sound (with centre satellie being mostly vocal, front two being instrumental/music, and back two being sound effects) then you need to buy an external sound card for your laptop that supports 5.1. I'd recommend the creative x-fi external usb, but only if you have xp. If you have vista, forget about getting an external sound card that supports real 5.1 for now because there aren't really any good and truly compatible ones.
