OK so i found this Samsung LN-3251D 32" HDTV LCD TV /MONITOR Last night they were throwing it out i brought it home and Plugged it in and hooked it up to see what is wrong with it i found that the Screen is all Snowy and there are green diagonal lines going through the screen how do i fix it or would it even be worth fixing

Connect the surround sound to cable box or use a optical wire

Hi replace the fuse in the wire connecting the mains plug. It's generally located within the 3 pin plug.
If you are lucky it maybe just a fuse blown out.

Hi andrew, its not a big problem.. Decent TV. but the pixels are DEAD. that means you have to recover them by fixing the LCD. this would cost you around £40-60 for a 32 inch TV. hope this helps!

The back light inverter board may have gone out or it is not getting the 24vdc from the power supply module. Start checking for voltage feeding the inverter board.

Have you used a scart cable? Then use av in menu and connections.

Hi, Your LCD controler is bad. Part number...
320WTC4LV1.0 Also does it do it on the tv menu?
If not it is the Main Pcp board "logic board" part number ...BN94-01011C

I talked to a Samsung support helpline and it needs to be taken to a service center for repair.

You will need a cable box with an HDMI or S-video connection from the box to the TV in order to receive actual HD signals.

2. Press the ENTER button to select "Source List".
Press the ▲ or ▼ buttons to select signal source, then press the ENT ER button.

This should enable you to pick your current source.
