Xbox controller Help my xbox joystick is broken by the L trigger. How do I fix this problem?

The joystick breaks when a plastic piece inside breaks. This problem can be fixed using parts from a second broken controller. Open both controller cases, take a good joystick from one (can be left or right) and replace the broken piece in the other. You'll need a soldering iron, solder, and desoldering braid. You don't want to use a desoldering pump as the contacts come off the board VERY easily.

sounds like the microswitch is stuck. The return spring won't help resolving this. more than likely replacing the controller will be your most efficient means to resolve the issue.

In game characters move automatically

This movement is because of a joystick that is broken. The joystick, while in the netural position, is sending signals to the console and thus moving the character. The only solution is to pull the joystick straight out until you hear a click. If that does not fix it, then the controller is broken.

My wireless xbox 360 controller doesn't function properly when i push it up forward why doesn't it work right?

Maybe the problem lies within the controller maybe the soldering has broken off (happened to me) or the joystick on the 360 controller has come lose.

Two broken wireless controllers to make one good?

Not hard the controllers wireless are all the same. You need a special tool a t8 torq tamper tool go on ebay they have them cheap with that you will be able to swap parts. remember there is one hidden screw in the lower center of the controller under the serial number sticker

Sorry to say but i think it may be broken you can ring up xbox 0800 587 1102 and get it fixed for free

But if its not an offical controller from microsoft then i would ask for you money back

Right joystick

I don't personally know of anywhere that will replace the stick. If it truly is broken as you say, you will need to purchase another one. After all, it is broken.
