F5 and e7 errors will occur on a sharp machine mainly due to dust on the optics. however, it will be easier for you to get better help if you give the model no. of the macine and the sub code for the error which you get by pressing the copy/start button while the error is displayed.

Copier turns on but will not copy

There should be a sub code for the E7. Depending on the sub code is what the error exactly is.

Asharp AL-1631 won't print anything but a mess.

E7 is a few different things. Are there two more numbers flashing after the E7 appears?

F5 has to do with the copy lamp.

It should be looked at by a technician. It needs to be looked at for the E7 issues.

AR201 displays e7

Could you be more specific? e7-03 is trouble in your laser unit, e7-04 is dirt on your inside white strip which helps your copy lamp find the home position, and e7-05 is trouble with your copy lens.
