I have a Technika DAB-206 Digital Radio approx 2 years old. About a month ago it developed a constasnt low noise hum when turned of. I left unplugged for approx two days and when I plugged it back in the hum had gone. This lasted approx 2 weeks and it has now started again. Anyone got any thoughts please.

You have leaky filter capacitors in this radio, this is a common fault and these are soldered into a rinted circuit board. Good luck

I'd second that. Technika stuff is OK for the price but the power supplies are not that well built and I've had to repair a few soldering faults on my DAB radio / CD.

Hi nicholasharp...

You did not say which model you had so I copied what I could find in manuals for Technika MP3 Players. I am sure you will find the user manual to explain when your MP3 player is fully charged.
I will also include the generic way to hook up and download songs to your MP3 player.
Go to the webpages below and download your User Manual and Quick Guide.

Downloading Music to MP3 Player

1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer.
NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11.
If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10.
2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer.
3...Open Media Player on your computer.
4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player.
5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your Data/Sync cord, be sure that Windows Media Player is on.
6...Media player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it.
7...After it is sync'ed with the computer, you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player.

I replaced the light bulb, now it displays -F6- and pushing any button causes a humming noise.

I left the unit unplugged over night, plugged it back in the next day and still had the same problem.

Technika FM In-Car Transmitter loud low frequency hum

This humming noise is the cause of a bad ground. try a new grounding location. The shorter the ground wire the better. Make sure the connection is metal to metal. I have had the same problem out of competition systems. Good Luck

Hi. i have an LG 42inch plasma, approx 18 months old. about 2 months ago, a green stripe developed down the right hand side of the screen, approx 1.5 inches wide. last week a 2nd stripe the same width...

Sadly, the plasma screen is failing. The green strip is no longer functioning properly and the failures will continue to progress.

If still under warranty, get it exchanged.
