The DTV screen will not
work. The other screens work; AV1, AV2, AV3, TV, HDMI, etc. I called the Tech people at Vizio and went
through several possible fixes but none worked. Let me explains what happens. The DTV screen comes up but remains blue. It should switch to a station or go black with
the "no signal" sign floating around the screen. When I go to the menu I can access all the

TV sets up all the tuner functions. This
TV runs off the Airwaves and I have no problem pulling in the digital channels
through a DVR that records discs. So I
know it is not the antenna. It started
to do this gradually when the set was turned on. I use to fix it by turning the set on and off
until it worked. But it does not work
any more. It seems like a solenoid switch
on a relay that would fail occasionally before it finally fails for good. Any suggestions on what to replace or what to
do would be appreciated.

Follow up on No DTV tuner after unplugging it a month for vacation. After I let it set plugged in for about 2-3 days it started working normally again and has been fine ever since. I hope this may help someone else. Genez 6-7-09

Basically DTV means Digital TeleVision. You select this to get your viewing through your aerial (Freeview) providing you have it tuned in of course. That's all it means.

Hi,
All you need to do is press the TV/VIDEO button in the top left corner of your remote. Each time you press, it will cycle through the connected external inputs, e.g. AV1, AV2, etc.

I have the exact same problem. bought this TV at sam's it was a return so I got a good deal. Had a great picture on HD but today it will not work any more,every other input works except RF HD INPUT, turning it on and off will not correct it any more. I guess I can see if a schematic is available to troubleshoot it or get a box with hdmi output and use that. I have satellite but no hd box. If I get a fix, I will post it here for you.

I was looking for a solution to the same problem when I found this post. I'm having the exact same issue with my Vizio L37, and like you, turning it on and off a few times used to fix the problem. All other tuners work fine, and like your tv, as soon as I select tuner in the DTV menu, the menu disappears, and I'm back to a blue screed with no menu access. I've seached for a schematic and come up empty. I called the support hotline, and they passed me on to another hotline since I'm out of warranty. If I get anything of use out of them, I'll come back and post.
