there is no direct input on this until. although you can purchase the aux input cable from the link i have posted which will allow you to plug in rca's into the rear. after purchasing this cable, you will have to turn on the aux option in the menu. which you may want to make sure that you can do beffore you order it.
1.with the power on, hold the source button until the until turns off
2. hold the audio button until a menu is opened. (hold function if audio doesn't work)
3. scroll through until you find the aux option and turn it on.
4. turn on the radio and scroll through the sources and make sure it is there.
5. buy cable and headphone to rca cable
You probably need to enable the aux input. To do this, turn the deck off and then enter the function menu. Set the aux input to on and you should be good to go.
Make sure that "AUX" is turned on on the menu. Some Pioneer radios have a front aux, a rear aux, a rear steering wheel control jack, and an aux through the IP-BUS only. First, make sure that if there is an auxillary port on the back of the unit, that it isn't the steering wheel control plug by accident. Second, front auxillary inputs on Pioneer radios NEVER need to be turned on in the menu, only inputs on the back. Any back inputs are turned on in the main set-up menu when the radio is first turned off. Hope this info helps.
it has nothing to do with the input...just press src until you get to standby then hold menu until the menu is displayed. toggle down to aux then toggle right to turn it on...hit menu to save and youre all set, the aux will appear when go through the source menu.
I'm not sure what aux input you're using - but be advised that if you've plugged your mp4 player directly into the RCAs in the back that won't work - those are outputs, not inputs.
You need to use a Pioneer CD-RB10 (or CD-RB20 if you're running a cd changer, XM tuner, or any other IP-bus component) in order to get an auxiliary input.
juve, your taught me that by going to standby mode then holding the menu button and browseing through with the right side knob to the aux option and turn it on, defalt its not on you have to set it up, thank you juvie
Turn the ignition key to on or accessory position, turn the stereo off, then hold the function key for a couple seconds, the stereo will turn on and you scroll through the menu with the left and right arrow buttons and change settings with the up and down buttons
