Hitachi 43UUWX10B After replacing my IC's to no avail, I think I now need to replace some resistors. I am in need of a parts list or schematic or service manual in order to determine what the part numbers are related to the boards labeling. (ie rk46=AT03195s) Without me purchasing a manual can you help? thanks in advance, Daniel

Thanks!!! I actually went and replaced ALL 13 of the resistors; figureed why not at ~1.50 eacha small price to not have to pull the board again soon.
Reinstalled the board last night, and GOOD AS NEW!!
Thanks for the help, nothing like the feeling of accomplishment and saving $1000's.

The resistors often burn out on that set when the convergence ic's go. The 3.3ohm 1/2watt metal film resistors those are usually the ones that burn out when the ic's go. you have to unsolder one side and lift the leg up out of circuit to check with a ohms meter. You can not check them in circuit make sure you lift a leg up to check or you will not get a correct reading

How do you fix the color to a model 43fdx11b hitachi

Hello!you mean: colors out of convergence? nothing you can do about that, unless you replace 2 convergence amplifiers I.C. chips, plus all those burned 1 watt low ohms resistors with exact values, which only could be obtained via service manual or schematics. After resistor is burned, there is no way to read color code properly, due to partial evaporation of pigments. this is a "pro" job. If you try or tried, already to converge those "stubborn" crosses, there is more to do, even after you removed and replaced two 20 pin I.C. chips, soldered dead into sweep module, plus located and replaced resistors with precise values, you need to get your settings back to normal, by going into "factory service mode' or, at least into "convergence alignment" menu and fight with those crosses!Don't forget the white "****"! Otherwise, you will be re-servicing your set all over after 30 days of usage.good luck,Alex.

I would change both ICs STK392-110 and also the 3.3ohm 1 watt resistors and the 1.8 ohm 1 watt you would need 2 of each resistor. Then your convergence would be new again. I have a Hitachi TV model 43FDX01B where the red shifted left about 2" and cannot be adjusted with the convergence setup. This happened suddenly after hearing a snap in the TV so something fried. I...

Need resistor value for RK62 on DP2X board for 57SWX20B

RK62 is a 2.2ohm 1 watt metal oxide resistor hitachi part number 0700054M any 2.2ohm 1 watt resistor will work although it does have to be metal oxide(flame resistant) for safety purposes.

Only use the same part number when replacing convergence amps, or you will need to replace all of the power resistors with recommended values for the convergence amps subsituted.

Convergence circut

Usually there are 2 convergence IC's, labeled STK392-110. Each IC has 3 channes. Each color needs to be corrected 2 ways, vertically and horizontally, so 6 channels are needed. usually one IC does red, red and haf of green while the other IC does the other half of green, blue and blue. If the red colors are off, change the IC closest to the red jack. If the blue is off, change the IC closest to the blue jack. If the green is out, you have a 50/50 shot at replacing the correct IC. It is recommended to use the STK392-150 when replacing the IC's so it might not be a bad idea to go ahead and replace both with the newer numbers.
